Mathias Paco Gomez, alias Acidemat, develops a body of work where the raw energy of graffiti meets highly precise graphic exploration. True to the spontaneous spirit of the street, he transforms the repetition of his tag into a tangible painterly medium, creating dense compositions where colors, layers, and outlines engage in a dialogue with an aesthetic inspired by calligraffiti and contemporary visual culture. His lettering becomes a pattern, a rhythm, and an imprint that reveals the hidden poetry of urban walls. Through painting, murals, and installations, he explores the boundaries between instinctive gesture and meticulous construction. Drawing on his background as a graphic designer and his immersion in underground music scenes, Acidemat creates works that blend the intensity of graffiti with the pulse of electronic music. Each creation captures the energy of a moment and transforms it into a graphic landscape, reflecting a practice that is free, immersive, and deeply rooted in contemporary urban culture.
